Episode 30 The Monash Massacre

On a normal October day in 2002, an international student walked into his classroom at Australia’s Monash University and shot four students and his professor. For a country that had already put incredibly restrictive gun laws in place a decade earlier, The Monash Massacre was a shock to the Australian public, and forced them to reckon with not just their gun laws, but the lacking policies and structures needed to support their international university students.
