Episode 1 Jody Loomis

In 1972, Jody Loomis was raped, shot in the head and left for dead in rural Snohomish County, Washington. Police were stymied in their hunt for her killer – Jody had no enemies, and all persons of interest were ruled out. Her case went cold. But a fortuitous discovery permitted investigators to use forensic genealogy to point to a family of six brothers, one of whom was her killer. Jody’s case was solved after 48 years of anguish for her family.
