sed to start a new job. Days turned into weeks without answers. During the time he was gone, there were suspicious posts and communications from Colby's phone and social media, and those closest to Colby wondered if it was really Colby who was doing the communicating.
On April 11, 2022, almost 3 months after he went missing, Colby's body was found by fisherman south of the Shoal River Bridge off Okaloosa County Road 393 near Dorcas. This location was several miles from where Colby was last seen. It was determined that Colby was the victim of a homicide and had been shot once in the head.
The news was devastating for Colby's family & friends. Now they knew where he was, but it only led to more questions. How did Colby wind up dead in the water, who killed him, and why?
