Episode 99 Lester and Carol Dotts

The Murder in My Family | Best True Crime Podcasts | AbJack Entertainment

69-year-old Lester Dotts, and his wife, 67-year-old Carol Dotts, were months away from celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary when they were killed in a flurry of bullets inside their Farragut, TN home by three young, but ruthless young men when they walked in on a burglary in progress.

The youths were quickly caught and arrested and received varying sentences, but unbelievably, one of the group has been a free man for years, and a second one is up for parole and may get out by the end of 2021. But Les and Carol’s daughter Jeanne is not taking things lightly, she has started a petition and is asking all listeners to sign, and share it, to help keep a killer behind bars. Time is of the essence. Will you help? Jeanne discusses her parents’ tragic deaths, and her efforts to keep a bad man in prison where he belongs.
